C'est une chose dont j'avais déjà parlé sur mon ancien blog
mais je voulais abordé le sujet plus longuement ici.
Quand on me demande mes sources d'inspiration,
la musique occupe une place important de la réponse...
Parce que je peins toujours en musique...
Il n'y a pas si longtemps, je peignais même avec un seul album en boucle.
Mon côté monomaniaque peut-être ;)
Maintenant c'est plutôt une playlist.

This is a subject I had already talked about in my old blog
but I wanted to talk about it at greater length here.
When people ask me what are my sources of inspiration,
Music plays an important part in the answer ...
Because I always paint with music ...
It was not so long ago, I was used to paint
listening to an album over and over again.
My monomaniacal side perhaps ;) Now it is rather a playlist.

Pour cette expo, je voulais que les gens puissent avoir un aperçu de mon univers,
au delà de la peinture seule.
J'en ai donc parlé avec un ami musicien, RO3,
et lui ai demandé s'il pouvait faire quelque chose...
Et voilà, il a fait un superbe arrangement
avec tous les morceaux que j'adore
(Cocorosie, Emilie Simon, Emily Loizeau...)
et que j'ai écouté pendant que je préparais cette expo.
Et je trouve qu'il a su parfaitement saisir mon état d'esprit du moment...
Cette musique, ce qu'il en a fait, la façon dont il l'a arrangé, c'est vraiment moi.
Et c'est assez troublant ;)

For this exhibition, I wanted people to try and get a glimpse of my world
beyond the painting itself.
So I talked with a musician friend, RO3,
and asked him if he could do something ...
And he came with a superb arrangement of all the songs I love
(Cocorosie, Emilie Simon, Emily Loizeau ...)
and that I listened to while I was preparing this exhibition.
And I think he perfectly captured my state of mind of this moment ...
This music, what he did, the way he has arranged it, it's really me.
And it's pretty disturbing ;)

Alors pour ceux qui n'ont pas pu venir ou ne pourront pas aller sur place voir et écouter,
voici un petit bonbon pour vos oreilles ;)
So for those who could not come or can not go there to see and listen,
here's a little treat for your ears ;)

Et pour ceux qui se posent la question, oui, j'aime le bruit de la pluie.
